Under the Moon’s Embrace

The moon was full and bright,
A beacon in the night,
Stirring night owls
from their dreams,
Whispering secrets,
Soft moonbeams.

It beg the moon to hide away,
For solace found
In shadows’ sway.
But tonight, a favorable sight,
Home I stay, wrapped in delight.

Streaks of clouds
across the sky,
Inviting me to wander, pry
In this tranquil evening glow,
I find the peace I long to know.
